We're Mythralion Quint Architecture, a sustainable contemporary architecture studio based in Toronto. Our office is at 1250 Queen Street West, Suite 304, Toronto, ON M6K 1L3. You can reach us at (416) 555-0142 or info@mythralionquint.info.
Look, we're not fans of legal jargon either, but privacy matters - especially when you're trusting us with details about your dream home or commercial project. We've tried to keep this straightforward and honest about what we do with your info.
When you fill out our contact form or shoot us an email, we'll collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), and whatever details you share about your project. We need this stuff to actually respond to you and understand what you're looking for.
Like most websites, we collect some technical info - your IP address, browser type, pages you visit, how long you stick around. This helps us figure out if our site's actually working well and what content people care about. We use standard analytics tools for this.
If we end up working together, we'll obviously collect more detailed information - property details, design preferences, budget considerations, and all the nitty-gritty needed to create your space. This is all covered under our separate client agreements too.
We won't sell your info to anyone. That's not our business model and frankly, it's just not cool.
We're pretty protective of client information, but there are times when we need to share it:
Structural engineers, sustainability consultants, contractors - the folks we work with to bring your project to life. They only get what's relevant to their part of the work.
Cloud storage, email services, project management tools - the tech we use to run our business efficiently. These companies have their own privacy commitments.
If we're legally required to disclose information - court orders, regulatory compliance, that sort of thing. We'd comply with Canadian privacy laws, obviously.
We love showcasing our work, but we'll always ask permission before featuring your project in our portfolio or marketing materials. Your property, your call.
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information - encrypted connections, secure servers, limited access to sensitive data. That said, no system's 100% bulletproof. We do our best, but can't guarantee absolute security (nobody honestly can).
Physical documents are stored securely in our office, and we shred what we don't need anymore. Digital files are backed up and protected with industry-standard security measures.
Under Canadian privacy legislation (PIPEDA and provincial laws), you've got rights regarding your personal information:
You can request a copy of what personal information we have about you. Just reach out and we'll get it to you within a reasonable timeframe.
If something's wrong or outdated, let us know and we'll fix it. We want our records to be accurate anyway.
You can opt out of marketing communications anytime. If you want us to stop processing your data entirely, we'll do that too (though it might affect our ability to work together).
Ask us to delete your personal info, and we will - unless we're legally required to keep it (like for tax or regulatory purposes).
Our website uses cookies - small text files that help the site function and let us understand how people use it. We use essential cookies (needed for the site to work properly) and analytics cookies (to see what's working and what's not).
Most browsers let you control or block cookies through their settings. Just know that disabling some cookies might affect how well the site works for you.
We keep your information as long as it's needed for the purposes we collected it. For general inquiries, that's usually a few years. For actual clients, we maintain project records for seven years after project completion (standard practice in architecture for liability and professional requirement reasons).
After that retention period, we securely delete or anonymize your data unless there's a legal reason to keep it longer.
Our site might link to other websites - supplier sites, industry resources, whatever's relevant. We're not responsible for their privacy practices. If you click through to another site, check out their privacy policy instead.
We might update this privacy policy from time to time - as our practices evolve or laws change. We'll post any updates here with a new "last updated" date. For significant changes, we might send an email to clients or post a notice on our site.
It's worth checking back occasionally if you're curious about how we're handling things.
If you've got questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your information, don't hesitate to reach out. We're happy to chat about it.
